FrameFast/Privacy

The short version. FrameFast collects only the minimum needed to run the service: your email at signup, screenshot uploads while you're rendering, and billing info handled by our payment processor. Data is hosted in Canada. No advertising trackers, no data sales, no model training on your screenshots.

Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 5, 2026

1. Who we are

FrameFast is a service operated by Lino Ti Inc., a corporation registered in Quebec, Canada. This policy describes how we handle personal information processed by framefast.app, the FrameFast API, and the FrameFast MCP server.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Account

  • Email address (used to sign in via magic link and to send service notifications)
  • API key associated with your account
  • Plan and entitlement (free, Starter, Pro)

2.2 Screenshots and rendering inputs

  • Screenshot images you upload to the editor or send through the API
  • Caption text, template choice, language locale, and other render parameters
  • Generated PNG output (returned to you and cached briefly for redelivery)

Inputs and outputs are retained for up to 30 days for support and abuse-detection purposes, then deleted. We do not use your screenshots to train any model, and we do not sell or share them.

2.3 Billing

  • Email address used for the purchase
  • Payment method details (handled directly by our payment processor, see Section 5, we do not see card numbers)
  • Receipt history and entitlement status

2.4 Technical data

  • IP address (used for security and rate limiting, retained 30 days)
  • User agent and locale
  • Service access logs (timestamps, response codes, request size), retained 30 days

What we do NOT collect: no advertising identifiers, no third-party behavioral analytics (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no TikTok Pixel, no Mixpanel), no biometric data, no contact-list scraping.

3. Hosting and data location

FrameFast is hosted on a content-delivery and edge-compute network. Database and object storage are configured to the ENAM (Eastern North America) region, with primary points of presence in Toronto and Montreal, to align with Canadian data-residency expectations under Quebec's Loi 25 and the federal PIPEDA.

4. How we use the data

We use the information we collect only to:

  • Operate the service (render screenshots, store account state, deliver API responses)
  • Authenticate you (magic-link login)
  • Process payments and confirm entitlement
  • Communicate about your account (security alerts, breaking changes)
  • Detect and prevent abuse (rate limiting, fraud detection)
  • Improve the service through aggregated, non-identifying usage analysis
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell any data. We do not disclose data for advertising purposes. We do not train AI models on your screenshots or rendering inputs.

5. Subprocessors

FrameFast relies on a small number of third-party services for core functionality. We disclose the categories below; the full list of named subprocessors and their privacy policies is available on request to [email protected].

  • Backend infrastructure: hosting, edge compute, database, object storage, and email routing for the service. Operated from regional points of presence in Canada.
  • Payment processor: handles one-time purchases of Starter and Pro plans. Receives your billing email, payment method, and country only, never your screenshots or rendering data.
  • Translation API: used only when you call the /api/localize endpoint. Receives the text you submit for translation, not screenshots or account information. Translations are not used to train any model.

No other third party receives data. No data is shared with data brokers, ad networks, or behavioral-tracking platforms.

6. Retention

  • Active accounts: kept for as long as you use the service.
  • Inactive accounts: deleted after 24 months without sign-in (we email a 30-day warning first).
  • Screenshots and renders: 30 days, then deleted.
  • Technical logs: 30 days.
  • Billing records: kept as long as required by Canadian tax law (typically 7 years).
  • Deletion requests: completed within 30 days, including backups.

7. Your rights

Under Quebec's Loi 25 and Canada's PIPEDA you may:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Withdraw consent for non-essential processing
  • Lodge a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy request". We respond within 30 days.

8. Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2 or higher). Database fields containing access tokens and API keys are hashed at rest. Magic-link tokens expire shortly after use. If we discover a breach involving your information we'll notify you and the relevant Canadian authorities as required by law.

9. Children

FrameFast is intended for adult app developers and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the service changes. Material changes are announced by email to active accounts at least 30 days before they take effect. The effective-date stamp at the top of this page is always current.
